Ipldk recordings on VMIB 1

Hi all,
If I take a back up of a working ipldk which auto attend messages and voice mail greetings recorded. Will it back up the audio? Ver 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9.

No. All audio will stay on the VMIB card.

Thanks so if the battery fails, all messages need to be re recorded?

Since VMIB / VMIB2 / VMIB II use flash ram, the messages will not be lost.

That may be the case with IPLDK20. Sorry I didn't specify model it was an IPLDK 100.
The customer in question had a failure of the main power supply on IPLDK100 it retianed all the programming but none of the messages/announcements on the VMIB card. MPB memory support battery was fine. VMIB memory support battery had gone flat, messages lost. I was hoping performing a back up of system would contain audion on message card as I have many clients with very complex message routing.
