hello all. im trying to connect an ipLDK-60 to BCM50 r3 using H.323. the BCM50 can call the ipLDK-60 without problems. but when the call is from the ipLDK-60, the BCM's extension will ring and i can answer the call but there is no speech path on both sides.

i have checked the config using 2 ipLDK-60 and it works without the problem. its just from the ipLDK-60 to the BCM50.

any inputs masters.

thanks

Have you checked your firewall and port numbers.
Maybe the audio / UDP ports are not opened?

Check with your WireShark, that your ports can carry data packets.

i dont think its the firewall since i've been testing only the ipLDK and the BCM on its same LAN. weird thing is the BCM to the ipLDK is ok but the ipLDK to BCM is not

You can connect the ipldk to BCM by SIP Trunks..works!!

-> bigg3rdude24: Maybe you need to trace through the WireShark in both scenarios (ipLDK-60 <-> ipLDK-60 && ipLDK-60 <-> BCM 50 R3) and chcek out for differences.

-> Mr. Morenot. Maybe a few hint could help the "thread owner"...

i have read your other thread regarding ip trunking using SIP but i dont have a SIP proxy server. can i do without it, just the ipldk and BCM via SIP?

I think that you need a SIP proxy server to get this to work.

///doktor

You don´t need a Sip Proxy
You can read next thread:

BCM50 connected to ipLDK60
thread1613-1492098

never got the SIP to work even between two ipLDK's. if i use SIP, what do i need to enter on the SIP attributes II? do i still need the authentication username and password? because i'll also be connection the ipLDK to a BCM400 that is not capable of SIP authentication.

also in SIP attribute II, in USER ID, is this correct? 100@192.168.1.10

extension #: 100
VOIB IP 192.168.1.10

thanks a lot

yeah finally got it to work using SIP. that other thread really was helpful. didn't have to use the SIP Attribute II though.

if others need details, just ask in this thread so i post my config.

thanks to all who helped.

waah i spoke too soon. seems like the ipLDK can only call a softphone on the BCM successfully. if the ipLDK called an ip phone there is no speech path on both ways. when the ipLDK calls an BCM analog phone the ipldk can hear the person using the BCM but the BCM phone cannot hear the ipLDK phone.

so near yet so far.

Sorry, doktor
By Ethics, I don´t can supply information of my old company
But, what docs do you need?
I have some

OK.
I need the feature description, the programming manual and the installation manual, if possible.
Thank you in advance...

Thank you!
I have received the 3 manuals!
Give a good idea about the product.
