I have a MD110, BC10 and need to set up various intrusion capability/protection levels (i.e. KSCAC:dir=xxxx,Serv=xx07xxxx;(D3D4)) and normaly it should be a piece of cake but what seems to make it more complex is that in my company we're also using authorization code to call external and this is managed through the mapping in the connection matrix and per what I understand this relates to it and maybe there needs to get something corrected. As a result I had even an instance, where a lower ICL extention could intrude into a higher IPL. I have Dynatext, but couldn't locate the why. So it would be a great help to give me some advice.

There is no relations between authorisation, matrix and intrusion. As long as you set SERV D2D3 correctly your sweet. But remember this, if the extension is authority code locked; this means this extension is using the minimum cat set. You can see it when you print EXCCP:CAT=ALL; on the last part you have min and default CAT. You can set this using EXCCS command(check you manuals about this). Next is when the extension is using auth code to call, you have CAT against this code. Check SERV and set it right.
In short check all necessary SERV in CAT used by the extension and auth code CAT.

Hope this will help.

Thanks patcher.
With your advise I could pin-point what is exactly happening.

The trouble starts when one makes an external call with the Authorization code feature: The "SERV" settings of the caller's extension gets changed into the "SERV" setting in the EXTENSION CATEGORY CODE (EXCCP to list), in my case cat.10.
So - when the cat.10 has a higher IPL/ICL then the intruder, there is no intusion, but when the IPL/ICL in cat.10 is equal or lower than the intruder, intrusion is permitted.

Is there some work-around to make different IPL/ICL work while keeping the authorization code feature?

I cannot see any work around. What I will do is just to set the right SERV for the extension and right SERV for authority code. You can set a different common cat just for the extension and a different common cat for auth code and assigned it and assign it to this extension involve. Example is, the common cat of extension 3100 is CAT=3. The serv of CAT 3 is SERV=02131201. Then AUCOI AUTH=1234,CILCOD=3100,CAT=33,CHECK=YES; CAT 33 has a serv of 02131201. This time when extension 3100 is locked or unlocked intrusion category will not change.
