I have an old IPK II that had 2 door phones. I had 1 single pgd adapter on port 7 of an esib/e combo card. Both of the door phones were working fine.
I needed to add two more door phones. I learned that plugging up another pgd adapter to the same esi card doesn't really work. Only 2 door phones would work no matter what I did.
So reviewing the hardware manual, I have since added another esib card. I put the 2nd pgd adapter on that card. Only one of the 2 door phones on that adapter will work.
I have removed the adapter and put it back on several times. I have rebooted the system. I even tried adding an esiE card one the ESIB just to see if that would help. I have replaced the adapter with another adapter to see if the adapter was bad. BUT nothing will make the 4th door phone work.
So I will take some ideas please.

Does a phone work on the new ESI port? If not, then check your wiring, connect at the MDF and count up your ports VS. licenses.

Thanks Belevedere
i didn't actually check a phone on the port. I left it dedicated to the pgd adapter, but one of the 2 door phones does work on that adapter on the at port, so I figure the port is good. I can try a phone and see if that works as well.
Also, It has the pku chip in it so it can go over the 64 ports..

I figured it out. apparently you have to have a esib8-U20. U10 will only give 1 channel.
