I need to stop the madness!!!! Here's the jist of it. We have the IPK II. 12 office phones with the 32 buttons. We have 12 inbound lines. 4 of he lines are programmed from the phone company. 8 are inbound Vonage lines. OF these Vonage lines we have approximately 120 Virtual Lines from Vonage and 80 remote call forward from the phone company. We only have one location. As you can imagine our costs are getting quite high. So to save money we want to have our own voip capabilities and then maybe sell a few lines to cover our expenses. Can We add this to our IPK II (Since we JUST upgraded) or do we need a whole new system? Any one know what is involved? money equipment wise? I have tried to research this and am more confused as ever..

You want to start providing what type of service? SIP trunk?
If so are you wanting to take the incoming SIP call and route it to someone for service?
It can be done but there are certain laws governing this sort of business (here in the US) and it gets real messy when you start dealing with 911 emergency routing.
The IPKII can do this but you would want to add an additional PVA card, or two, to support the additional channels needed to provide this service. You would also require the reciever of this service to add a 9 infront of their dialed calls so that it would access the ARS/Froutes in your site.
My first questions is why to you have 200 DID numbers and only 12 stations? Was there a major reduction in work force? Seems to me the best way to cover the cost would be to remove the sourse of it and get rid of the numbers your not using.
