IPK Caller ID....

I have an IPK with version 1.02 software and a COIB card.Is there a newer version software that lets you see name and number?

This feature is available with the Elite so if you have an IPK it should work.
Check 3-44 ; 1-8-08. Also the COIB be card needs to be in one of the first 4 slots if I remember correctly.

If memory serves prior to 1.03 in the IPK they had a lot of bugs. My feature list shows that it should work taking into account the number of phones that are allowed to view caller ID info. I would load 1.03 and see if that helps your problem or buy an upgrade from NEC cost is only a couple of hundred dollars and it will get you so many new features.

If I'm not mistaken, you also need to have an MIFM card with the caller ID chip installed for it to work.

At least, that's what I had to do in my 48 at home to get it to work.

In 1-8-08 page 4,do line keys 3 and 4 both need to be on?.....and yes the carrier is sending name and number..
