Hi,

I seem unable to get the bosses iPhone working since I renewed our SSL certificate.

It worked fine for two years, I renewed the SSL certificate and since then it refuses to authenticate the certificate or connect to the server?

All other systems (OWA & VPN) are working fine with the new SSL certificate.

The only thing different between the old certificate and the new one is the RSA public key bit length, the old one was 1024, I purchased the new one at 4096, is this likely to be the problem?

However, I found when purchasing I couldn't buy it at 1024 and the system told me the minimum allowed was 2048? So i'm a bit confused as to how our old certificate was 1024 anyway?

It's a GoDaddy certificate, if that helps.

Thanks,

1DMF.

Solved it, I don't know how it happened - famous last words eh!

But some how the active-sync webextension part of IIS had been set to 'denied' under the access settings on the security tab.

I cannot think how it got changed, i don't recall even going in there to check anything, but hey , all it needed was another pair of eyes to spot the faux pas

Hopefully it wont bother me for another 2 years now [lol]
