IPECS P5 system prompts 2

Does anyone have a descriptive list of the system prompts? (all 255) I believe it is possible with the MFIM/GS93M-E0De.

I would like to remove the add-on prompt at the voice-mail greeting (e.g. prompt 096 in the LDK where one records a tiny bit of silence to replace the annoying default prompt)

Please write the exact content of the actual prompt/phrase (what does it say), and I will try to help.

The prompt 96 in ipLDK deals with "Leave Message after Tone Prompt". It says something like: "Please leave a message after the tone.". I will check for the correspondant message in iPECS P.5.

In iPECS P.5. Message number 8 says: "if you want to leave a message, please press the pound(#) key".I think this is what you're looking for?

I am not sure about the file type.. Is it .vaw files?
Maybe it does not matter, if you just want to re-record?

If you use windows recorder, please set (wav) format to CCITT u-law, 8000kHz, 8bit, mono and save:

Settings [Windows Recorder]
1. record voice
2. [Save As] -> Format [CCITT u-law], (A) 8,000 kHz, 8bit, mono, 7KB/sec -> OK
Settings [CoolEdit] or your choice of Audio apps which conforms to the following.
1. File -> New : Sample Rate [8000], Channels[Mono], Resolution[16bit]
2. Press record start button and record prompt.
3. Save As -> A/mu-law Wave [Options : mu-law 8-bit]

Or record a greeting on a mailbox then download it to your PC and rename it; then upload it to required prompt menu.

I would have done it the same way!
Be sure to set the correct format. I meesed up once setting it to A-law. Not a very good idea.
