Hi All,
Heres a weird problem that you may know the answer too....
We've got IPECS MFIM-50 with 3 analog lines going into it, its got 8 extensions setup so far. Over the past couple of days, we have an odd problem occurring.
Incoming calls - the phone will ring, we pick the handset up, and then the handset displays Line 3 Released and we don't have the call anymore.
Outgoing calls - as soon as we dial the first 3 or so digits, the display also says Line 3 Released and we can't dial out.
Whats the problem? Network PSTN lines or the system itself? Only started happening the last few days, we changed our ADSL router a few days ago, which the IPECS is plugged into, but the phone and system are on a separate IP range and its been working fine since the router swapped - its only the last couple of days this started happening. Rebooting the IPECS doesn't seem to solve it. Yesterday, a line test was run and then it started working again but the line test didn't come back with any problems - so whether it fixed itself or the line was 'jammed' somehow and got cleared with the test - we're not sure.
Cheers
Jason
