Boss got two offices and now needs two phones. His current setup is a LIP-8040L with a LIP-LSS (button box)connected to him. In his second office I was just using the Linked Station feature and setting him to a LIP-8024D. Now to the question.

The Flex buttons on the LIP-8024D seem to be a random selection of extensions and I can't find anywhere to change them. The pattern does not match how his existing phone is set up. Can someone explain to me how to change the flex buttons on the Slave phone or how flex buttons work when using Linked Station. Does his linked stations need to be the exact same phones?

-if it is an iPECS LIK the phones can be different types
-the flex buttons you have to program for both phones under Station Data->Flex Buttons

xs650,

First thank you for your reply.

I did program the Flex buttons under Station Data -> Flex Buttons. The Slave phone did not show any of the changes on the phone. The phone system showed the changes but the buttons on the phone did not change and remained the random sequence.

-lets assume station 100 is master and station 120 is slave.
-than you have to programm the needed flex buttons twice, for station 100
and for station 120.
There are no flex buttons programmed on the slave when you program the master station.

Are you able to Program a Loop Key or Co Line Key on the flex button program.
If so you could try and program the remaining flex keys on the phone it self.

Trans/Prog - Press any flex Key.
