Hello
I want to set up a sip trunk on a ipecs 5.0, do anyone know how to do this?

This discuusion has been made in the following thread: "Change of Broad band provider" thread1613-1538121.
You can get some good ideas, when you read it and also the sub treads listed.

I have got some additional information on this issue:

For the IPECS version 5.0 (E.0 Dj),
you need to check for the settings for PGM133 and PMG126.

PGM133:(This corresponds to the PGM350 of the ipLDK-100/300)
*1. Set SIP Attributes in PGM 133 as shown below.

1) Soft Switch Type = Normal (or Broadsoft).
2) Proxy Server Address : x.x.x.x (public IP address).
3) Primary DNS Address : "DNS#1 IP Address"
4) Secondary DNS Address : "DNS#2 IP Address"
5) Use outbound proxy -> ON.
6) Connection Mode = UDP/ON.
7) Set Domain Address as "x.x.x.x"

(More value can be set accordingly, but these are the most important)
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
PGM126 (for ALL SIP users, this must be done):
(This corresponds to the PGM 351 of the ipLDK-100/300).

PGM126:
1. First set the Index number one-by-one in the top fields.
First Index is # 1.

Then set Order # of PGM126 as below.

#1) User ID : 100@x.x.x.x
#4) Contact number : 1000(Station number - e.g. 1000)
#7) User ID Registration : Register
#9) User ID Usage : True / ON

2. Set SIP User ID Table number of Station 1000 as 01.
This gives Station number 100 the SIP Index #1 (01).
PGM + 111 + 10001000 + BTN56+ 01 + [SAVE]
3. Reset IPECS manually.
4. Check if the user is registered to SIP Server normally.
5. Call the DDI number xxxx1000, registered in PGM231, as usual.

Makes sense?

IP address of x.x.x.x is your Public IP address.
Let me know about your progress.

Small correction:
100@x.x.x.x should be 1000@x.x.x.x

Hello doktor
I will try, but when you go into prg133 it want a Sequence number is this voip kanal Sequence number

abl2910

A sequence number refers to the system port number. You can use 1 to 143 in a MFIM100. This is the total number of ports in the system, i.e. both CO lines and Station numbers.
Check the "System Capacity Overview" of MFIM100 in PGM102, and you will see this number. The MFIM100 consists of 70 station numbers and 42 CO lines, both can be SIP. Therefore you can up to 112 CO+STA numbers, the rest are for other functions UCS and WTIB gateways.
Remember that a SIP phone requires a license in the IPECS.
The SIP User ID Index Number of PGM126 kan take the value of 1-70, the station number range.

Hello
I mean that sequence number is the number for the modul in prg102 (ipecs)

Iwant to know if the sequencenumber i prg133 is the number for voip

I have try some different thinks on the ipecs, i have a sip account with a number and a password and want to use this for a trunk line in the ipecs, but i can't make it work yet

abl2910

You are right concerning that the sequence number is the number for the modules in PGM102 .
In PGM 126 you set the SIP index number, that also is set in PGM111 BTN56.
(Set SIP User ID Table number of Station 1000 as 01.
This gives Station number 100 the SIP Index #1 (01).
PGM + 111 + 10001000 + BTN56+ 01 + [SAVE])

Hello doktor
This config in prg 126 is it not for extention?
I need config for sip trunk

abl2910

Sorry for the delay in my response...

In PGM126 in the folder "Station Data" you set the "SIP User ID Index Number" for the actual SIP phone.
PGM 126 and PGM 111 are closely connected, because you set the "SIP User ID Index Number" , also in PGM 11 BTN 56.
And you use th "SIP User ID Index Number" in PGM 126 to set all the details for you SIP phone.
As earlier described the "SIP User ID Index Number" can have a value from 1 to 70 in MFIM100. This range is the number of stations.

The PGM131 needs the sequence number to be entered. This number is equal to the sequence number of PGM102, i.e. the IPECS module number (or IP phone sequence number).
Hope that this makes sense?

abl2910 have you solved your problem yet? If no I can send you an engineer manual on how to setup a SIP trunk using iPECS 5.0. There is basically 3 methods including creating a SIP trunk without any authorization as well as single and multiple authorization with the SIP provider.

I will also write a more concrete overview of these methods as every one of it require different settings through some examples. It would be enough to get a basic picture of how it works and to find a logics though. Also, what firmware u r using? Check for E.0Dr.

Cheers,
Ivo

Hello
Yes it's running now with a musimi.dk account
