I've got an HP4200 with an IPDS SIMM from MPITech installed. We have one main vendor for all our AS/400 apps. They are converting everything to IPDS. Every IPDS form they have seems to print on a different part of the page. One form will print high and too the left and get cut off, while the next will print low and to the right and get cut off. The issue is consistent for each specific form. I can adjust margins manually on the printer, and while that works for one form, it doesn't match the rest and they continue to print off page. Of course, everything but barcodes and form lines would print fine on the Lexmark 2450 without IPDS we replaced, so go figure. I'm told it's our fault and we should've bought their recommended printer, but this shouldn't be a problem with an application "robust" enough to work with the most popular manufacturer out there. We don't have the duckets to buy specialized, single purpose, single platform, $4000 dollar printers as they suggest. I needed somthing that could be used by both WinBloze and AS/400 apps. This thing works like a champ with Windoze. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance.
