I was wondering if anyone knows how to reset the IPDA stat counter? I believe that is what is causing problems for us.

I know that the command is change-pstat:cntrltbl, board, etc...

I would doubt it and if it is causing the problem then it means that a patch/fix should be issued for it rather than just resetting the counters.
They will increment again.
However there is a PDF Here and PSTAT is on Pages 1823 to 1848
It also states that if you are resetting those counters that the SWU will not be active so you should do this out of hours.

Ok I finally was able to speak with a level 2 engineer from Siemens. They upgraded (patch) our v5 UNIX to UW7 V5 R0.17.12. He also said that he is looking for any CRON or schedule running. So far no restarts this afternoon; Fingers CROSSED

Everything was pushed up to a level 3 engineering and within 1 hour, he found the problem. Turned out to be firewall dropping TCP=AF31 traffic.

So far no reboots, restarts, etc.
