In 4000 Hipath v5 which User and password to configure the iPDA via rs232 ?

TRM
HICOM
both in CAPTIALS
then when you are logged on turn off capitals
if you want to write any information: 'get write access'
To save any changes: finish

Use the ComWin IPDA macro to do changes

Thanks

I have this macro, but I'll try to configure access.

I no have this macro, but I'll try to configure access.

Steps:

If it is a new card.
Remove the LAN cable first before configuration.

Open ComWin
Setup a new connection if it is not already there called COM_IPDA
Make TELNET the Default
Add in the following settings:
LINE: COM1 or other COM Port on your PC
SPEED: 38400
Parity: None
Wordlength: 8
Stopbits: 1
Check - Unix settings (may include RMX)

Connect up the cable to the RS232,
Open up that connection on ComWin
Click on the Telnet Terminal TAB
Click down the end in the white space
Hit Enter a few times until you get Logon Prompt
TRM
HICOM

Then click on MACRO/
Start CBL/Macro Bookmark/
Configure IPDA

Then a new window should open
If it is a previously setup card then you can 'get all parameters'
If it is a new card you can fill in the parameters and 'save all parameters'

If you are writing to the card you have to go to the Telnet Terminal first in ComWin and 'get write access'

Let me know if you are having problems
Regards

I managed to set the IPDA, but pabx can configure Ips via ComWin for IPDA.

programmed the ip of CC-A by SIPCO but not synchronized to NCUI, router appears in the IP 192.0.2.3 and not scheduled in SIPCO via ComWin.

The network is blocking MAC address connected to the port and gave STMI ping response, the IPDA not. The PABX has two MACs must pass both?
The two cables are on the same switch.

Thanks

RonnieDio1 you should consult with local techs about this.
Yes there are 2 cables
1 in IPDA
1 in Customer
