ipcs error

I am trying to run the ipcs command, but it returns the following error

0515-001 No valid name list found in /unix.

Does anybody know what this error means or how to fix it. We are trying to run it on Aix version 4.3.2.0. It is happening to only one of our computers.

what size is /usr/lib/boot/unix , is it linked correctly to the correct unix kernel .

check permissions on this file as well.

how much memory have you got installed on your server ,
check system parmameters as well sar -v 3 3 , are any running out or reaching the maximum

Are there any errors reported in error report ( errpr -a |m)
or mailx
