I have a user that can't run the ipconfig command in dos. It say that it isn't an internal or external commmand. Has anyone ever seen this? Or does anyone know how to fix it? I have given him a static IP for now, but I would rather get him back on my DHCP server. Thanks in advance for the help, I have just never seen this before.

This does not mean that he is not recieving an IP address for the DHCP server. Set his IP config back to automatic and try to ping the ip address of the server or another pc. What you can do is search for the ipconfig.exe and if it is not in the WINNT/system32 folder, copy it from another machine. It may give you some different errors after that, but that may be specific dll's that relate to that EXE. If you cannot ping another machine, reload his network drivers, and if that doesnt work you may have to reload NT.
