We have connected a Alcatel OXO (4200) to an IPC dealer board system via QSIG.

We are having an issue getting the IPC to use the QSIG channels to dial out or extensions on the alcatel.

The alcatel can dial through to the IPC user button by dialling the QSIG trunk group and then its user number. When we press the user button on the IPC to make a call we hear rapid disconnect tone which we are unable to break out.

The IPC technician is not much help.

What are we missing?

Just some general information on how it works is needed

I am not very familiar with the IPC system, however if you have the link working and the channels are seizable you may have a config issue with the individual channels. A similar issue with Syntegra and expecting DTMF (PSTN type channel) and Not expecting (PLAR).
If you cannot get the link working the question I would have is what model of IPC. Some older systems did not support Q.SIG.
