ipc$ errors

Windows 98cannot logon onto the windows2000 computer
it always gives me a logon dialog box and
\\computername\ipc$
and it prompts me for the password
please help

Hey there

try this,

the user name and password of the windows 2000 machine and the user name password on the windows98 machine should be the same .

this works like charm ,
