IPAQ PPC 2002 Upgrade

Hi,

I recently ordered PPC 2003 from a supplier but frustrated by the leadtime to deliver I installed one that my friend downloaded. It turned out to be for the 3870 not the 3850 that I have. Since installing it I have had errors coming up that indicate problems with bluetooth....possibly because mine isn't equipped with bluetooth!
Now that I have the orignal disk for the 2003 upgrade for 3850 I can't install it, it fails.
Is there a way I can restore it back to 2002 and then perform the upgrade correctly?

When you did your upgrade, there should have been an option to save the current ROM image (PPC2002) that when you run the upgrade disk should ask if you want to go back to the original ROM image. It has been awhile since I have upgraded mine to WM2003, but I thought it saved the old image.

If that does not work for you, you are probably stuck unless you can get HP to re-flash your ROM with 2002. Try calling their tech support and see what they can do.
