One of my users has an iPaq H3600, with the latest OS upgrade, and ActiveSync 3.5. His PC is a Dell Latitude C810 w/ port replicator, running Windows 2000 SP2 SRP1.

In the middle of a sync, when it begins the Inbox, the sync will abruptly end, and ActiveSync will say the iPaq is "Not Connected." Reconnecting and soft-resetting does not seem to help.

Any ideas?

Wireless connection? It was demonstrated at a Microsoft seminar I attended back in May [sponsored in part by Compaq] that interference from other wireless devices such as digital/PCS cell phones could cause the problem.

No, it is hard connected to the PC, via USB port. I shoulda have been more specific.

Not sure if this will help or not but I had a USB docking station for my Nomad MP3 player connected to a usb hub and it would do the same. I removed it from the hub and connected it directly to the USB port on the motherboard and the reinstalled the drivers and it no longers does that.

Hope that helps.
