Problem with a iPaq H3955 and a cisco aironet 350 wireless card.
It started with trying to use 'airmagnet' software with the associated card. Some issues were encountered and after reading some tech info on the airmagnet site, I learned I had to downgrade the wireless 350 card's firmware.
Upon doing so the card wouldn't be recognized. Flashes amber/red 3 times then 2 second pause.
According to cisco site, indicates a bad firmware checksum. It says the solution is to use the cisco acu and reinstall the firmware.
Its a catch 22. The ipaq will not detect the card. When I select 'firmware' in the acu, I get the message 'card not inserted'.
Any ideas to resolve this issue? This has been bugging me for 2 weeks now, and I can't seem to locate any information on the net that helps.
TIA to any that can help.
