I've been looking for a good chess application for my 3635 iPAQ hand-held. I'm currently running the latest Windows O/S for this unit. Doesn't seem to be much available in retail and the on-line stuff is hard to evauate and/or find! Looking for any input from those who have used/tried any specific chess sortware. Thanks!

As an average club player i have tried many chess programs on my iPAQ. I will recommend PalmChess, PocketGenius and ChessPartner. these will play fairly good chess.
Just yesterday i found another interesting program called "PocketCrafty". I know that Crafty is a strong Chess engine for many PC Chess programs such as "ChessBase". now available on the internet free for the iPAQ. I will try it today to see if it deserves its name!
