ip500 4.2 4 with ip softphones

have a site with 7 users, all on phone manager ip softphone, using plantronics headsets, 2 users reporting that they will be on a call and will loose voice after around 2 minutes, the call remians but no audio or speech. For one of the users closing and reloading the phone manager works, for the 2nd complete pc shut down is required, this occurs regulary, firstly anyone had anything similar, secondly if not, how can i track down the cause. The system is over 200 miles away so on site tests are near impossible, full remote access to pc's, system etc however
 
Reboot the IPO. At least that's what I would try first if all has been working fine since before this issue came into play.
 
Are the PC's running a firewall? Could it be closing RTP ports?
