I have a brand new IP406v2 out of the box I can bring up the conifg in manager but only if I change the broadcast to 192.168.42.1 I can not bring up monitor for this unit. When I try to change the programmin I get a TFTP error:
Access Denied!!!
Failed to send config...

Have also tried a different PC with same results.

Help.

I was able to get the Monitor working. There is an Alarm Log dump after Config Write Completed during the boot up sequence

ALARM: -1/-1/00-1 -1:-1:-1 <corrupt IDS> <<corrupt ES>> CRIT ???? addr=ffffffff d=-1 pc=ffffffff ffffffff ffffffff ffffffff ffffffff ffffffff

I have now reset connecting to the DTE port. Did the AT-X then the ip406u.bin loads from the tftp server, with the same end results.

what software level are you on?

If 3.1.xx have you been through the intermediate stages?

Take Care

Matt
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

I believe I have. I did the At-X command first loaded the 3.0(99) bin then the 3.1(56) bin from the IP406v2 folder.

have you tried uninstalling admin software from manager pc and reinstalling? also make manager pc static ip to ipoffice unit and directly plugged into ipoffice unit.

Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled the manager software as well as a different pc. Could someone point me in the direction of resetting and reloading software. I've downloaded the DTE maintenance pdf are there any other detailed instructions?

You ONLY use AT-X if you have a unit that has red LED!

Your issue is propably related to a corrupt cfg. Use the AT-X2 and AT-X3 commands on the DTE, and NOT AT-X!

Tho unit will propably work afterwards.
