Hi, I've been trying to access an Avaya IP403 control unit without success via the DTE port. I think I've tried all the methods suggested here to unlock it but would appreciate if anyone had suggestions.
When powering on the unit the LED in the centre remains red and all the DT port lights are lit yellow and green. No lights on the LAN ports. It remains in this state regardless of how long it's powered on (tested for a few hours).
I have tested the PC (which is being used to connect with the Avaya) with an Avaya POT unit and Alchemy Argent Office 2.2 control unit and they both respond in Hyperterminal through a serial COM1 to DTE port connection. The Alchemy also responds in IP Office 3.2. So I'm almost certain the PC is working and communicating properly and the fault therefore lies with the IP403 control unit.
So far I've tried the following:

[li]Connecting through the IP403 LAN ports via IP Office Manager V3.2 with Windows XP. No connection is registered on the unit or PC so I am unable to use IP Office to access.[/li]
[li]Connecting through the IP403 DTE port. Bootloader does not appear. Tried several times powering it up and pressing ESC. So I am unable to use AT commands to bring the system back to default settings.[/li]
[li]Removed the BRI card in Slot B (Slot A is empty) and tried both of the above again.[/li]

Has the IP403 control unit finally had it or is there any way of ressurecting it? I do not require config files so I'm fine with a destructive wipe to get it running again.
