I have a client with an IP403 + DT 16 extension unit. The 403 has the standard Quad BRI trunk card, which is connected to 4 ISDN2 services (1 line plus 7 auxillaries). It is running version 3.ODT

Strangely the 403 only sees 4 trunk lines (8-5) and will not detect the other 4 channels! ISDN2 service lights flash on these channels as though not connected to PBX.

If I restart the system and connect it only to the last 4 isdn channels they work correctly.

I have even tried another 403/Quad BRI, but get exactly the same result.

It doesn't seem to be possible to add the lines manually through the manager programme.

Can anyone suggest anything obvious I've missed!

have you tried a default config?

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Yeah, I had to replace the unit with an identical unit clean install of 3.0DT.

Hello there, Well I had a similiar problem to this and it turned out that the ISDN card was not seated fully it was literally .5mm off fully seated in the pins, it took putting a slight bend in the card to get the last .5mm but then that last channels came up, I think the spacer pegs are slightly too big!!!! Worth a try!! Cheers
