IP400 So8 Module

Has anyone used the IP400 So8 Module to provide ISDN for Video conferencing? I need to provide 4 ISDN lines to a Polycom system and wanted to make sure this is what I needed. Also, any setup info would help.

yes i did

if DDI is used then make a shortcode that maches the DDI

example

your DDI number is :012-3456789

then make a shortcode like this

3456789
dial
3456789
line id that u need

then in incomingcall route you point it to the shortcode you made for that DDI

that is what you need to do for the four s08 line you need
this should point you in the right direction

has anyone done this with PRI? I can make calls but not get incoming.

If it makes a data call to the PRI it could colide with the default route "Any Data / Dialin".

Do you have an route for "Any Data" on that DDI with the destination of your conf equipment?

I have it set to Any. I have tried everything on the incoming call route. i get an error code in the monitor that says NI2 protocal exceded

NI2 is a protocol for T1-pri
i only have done this with E1-pri wich has Qsig as protocol

Can you make an internal call using a shortcode to the equipment?

No i cant get a call to complete inbound. I can call out to any number but not in.
