When i plug my 2420 phones directly into the ip403, everything sounds fine. When i plug them into the 16 port digital ip400 unit, the dial tones sound very high pitch. Everything works, it just doesnt sound right.

Im running 2.1(27), and i have a standard cat5 cable between the IP403 and the IP400 digital. Any ideas?

I'd love to get on 3.x so i can use bridged appearances but i have 0 luck with that

Thanks
Shane

Remove your unsupported standard cat5 cable and use the proper cable that came with your DS16 module :)

Might or might not fix the problem, but at least you'll have a supported configuration.

If you do not have such a cable :
use a 0.5 mtr shielded cable and your problem should be fixed, if not : replace the module.
