IP2050 No DTMF after call connects

BCM50 R6 - all latest patches
IP2050 v2.0

IP2050 No DTMF after call connects, cannot navigate AA at far end, no digits including * & #

Issue is on a SIP Trunk
IP 11XX Sets work fine over SIP Trunk

2050 works on Analog Trunk fine.

I cannot seem to find the difference between the IP Set and the 2050.

Anyone recall this?

I don't use the 2050 softphone, so these are just ideas I'm throwing out there.

Since it works over analog trunks, see if there's settings in the 2050 software for RFC 2833.
Try changing codecs.

Update, getting close!

RFC2833- no such settings on the 2050
Codecs - tried all

I found the 2050 works ok on other SIP accounts I have :
Sipgate and Voip.Ms - works
Call Centric - I seem to have lost Audio on that account so cannot test

I just tried F808 Long Tones and it worked!

I tried several several RFC2833 Payload settings between 97 and 127 on SIP Trunks but no go.

Ah, the things that aren't in the documentation. We are the beta testers who have to find workarounds. Why I get so aggravated with nimrods whose only reply to a question is RTFM. Good work!
