I have an 81 C with IP service on 7.0 Currently we have no wireless IP phones. What is required for me to add a wireless handset such as a 2211 or 6120? Our wireless network currently is not used for any voice services.

Thanks,
C Knoll

depends what/ how your phones will talk to the network, SVP or WMM. If you use svp I think you need a 2245/2240 to manage the WLAN sets & if you use WMM you need someone who really knows how to configure your wireless network. The following document should help "NN43001-504 WLAN IP"

Oh yeh one other thing "good luck your gonna need it"

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

I have a bunch of 6120's and use the 2240 QoS manager. I found setup to be easy, and the phones work great as long as they have a good wifi signal.
