Sofar we have IP trunking between nodes by using either external or internal IP gateways.
But all connection towards the PSTN operator is still nonIP.

Anyone knows if there will come such an interface for the MD110 in BC14 (or in some SP:s of bC12) ?
Or is this only applicable for the coming MECS system ?

Ericsson / Damovo ?

Hi !
Is there any PSTN operators that delivers ip based trunks
yet .
Not in my country so far ,all is still ISDN.

I've heard the awaited IPv6 seems to be an important
basis for this .

So when PSTN operators and the protocol for it is ready it will come to the MD both standard & mecs.

Here in my country we have established a operator using SIP , now their focus is at the private marked but they will shortly deliver services for enterprises as well.

When you get all your DID numberseries at this operator one can easily make private networking without usage of expensive WAN links , just internet.

Well i don't think one should put all the eggs in one basket.
A dedicated ip-trunk from the PSTN operator would
be prefered by many .
