Hi all
I configured an IP trunk between Avaya S8720 (CM3.1) and Asterisk (Trixbox).
The inbound calls between them are working properly.
But when I need to do an outside call from Asterisk Extension through Avaya DIOD I get this denial event:

Hey snoopy,

Could you try to configure your trunk 41 in page 2 if I remember (I'm not in the office) to use the "supplementary service protocol" with value "b" and let me know.

Regards.

in your signaling group for your IP trunk? what do you have as your Far-end Domain? did you create a new ip network region for the trixbox link? what is the domain on your network region?

Hey Dose
It's already as value "b" :)

Gibsonic:
all have same ip-network-region = 1

put a trace up on the tac of the asterisk trunk in avaya and see where it fails

Snoopy,

I have seen this same thing with Freeswitch connecting back to Avaya for outbound calls. Using the IP of the Asterisk box as the domain name resolved it for us.

Check your SIP message logs to see if you are getting mis-matched domain data.

I suspect that since you are configed with everything in 1 network region that this is the problem. At worst, match the domain info in your asterisk to what you have configured in your network region 1. At best, config a separate network region per SIP domain.

Gibsonic:
You configured SIP trunk between Avaya and Freeswitch? is it?

Sorry for late
