hi, im sorry but ip addresses dont work like that i think... i know because, i had a problem with someone in france, and banned the ip, and half of the uk, couldnt get into the site... Ie i banned any one with the first six digit ip addy.. the last six was random and i banned loads...
cheers Craigey, but the first link has been whipped from someone elses site and you have to pay for it and the 2nd/3rd links have been like that for a long time i.e. useless. Krappleby each country can be identified in most cases.

Well, you could look through the ripe documentation and find out how to search their db by country to get a full country range. There are also objects for sale that will do reverse DNS for you (so that you could get the country code) and there is one database for sale in CSV format of ip bloacks, country codes, and coutry names. The csv file is $50 (

By the way I have just found another Who-is Where-Is script on the Planet source code website. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, so you'll just have to give it a go.
