Hi,

Today 29 Feb 2012 some of our IP Tel sets 1150e date changed to 01 march 2012 instead of 29 Feb, and some tel sets remains to 28 Feb, regarding time it appears to be allright. On digital sets appears to ok, I checked the system and ISP 1100 Signalling Server date also appears ok.What could be the prob?

Thank You

Hello Mike

We now have 4 customers who reported the problem yesterday with various software releases ranging from release 4.0 , 4.5 to release 5.0. As you have stated, wired digital phones are all OK with the correct date / time being displayed.

However, any IP phone has gone to 1st March 2012. The solution which is a workaround, appears to be to advance the time by one minute. Looks like this will have to be done every 4 years!.

We found an older tek tip thread from 4 years ago below.

Daily Saving Time change on i2002 and some i2004 sets. Problem:
An issue has been uncovered that has to do with Daylight Saving Time and i2002 sets. As the DST progresses through the April 2 timeframe, i2002 sets do not follow the time change as configured in the CS1k The i2004 sets and TDM sets have not shown the issue and follow the DST time change correctly.
Environment:
CS1000, Meridian 1 X21 4.0

Resolution:
The issue is under investigation and the present workaround is to advance the time by 1(one) minute in the Call Server (LD 2) after the time has progressed through the time change (2:00 am). This will correct the time on the i2002

All the best
