I am confused regarding software limits,VCM modules, Phone Manager Pro, and IP Soft-Phone.
Suppose an installation consists of (2) 412 base modules, each equipped with a VCM 30, linked together. This would allow the maximum of 500 users for this site, with 60 VCM channels available for use. If 1 of the 412 units were also equipped with 5 DS station modules, then it would appear there is room for up to 350 IP Soft-Phone users at this site. If the primary 412 has licensing for unlimited Phone Manager Pro users and 100 IP Soft-Phone users, then what prevents a customer from loading 350 remote worker computers with IP Soft-Phone and allowing them to access the system? I realize they will be limited by the available VCM channels, and I also realize that this is not quite legit, but this question did arise today and I'm not sure what the answer is.
