I recently changed the IP node address and all the IP sets had to be power cycled to obtain the new address from the DHCP server. Rebooting the sig servers had no effect. Had 4,000 users out of service! Anyone have any thoughts as to why the sets needed to be power cycled? Thanks!

Thats normal. The phones won't acquire a new address from DHCP until they do a full reboot or the lease expires in the DHCP server and the phone requests a new address. When I've changed node IPs in the past I've made the DHCP scope change, done an isetResetAll on each sig server, then make the changes to the node IP. The sets then get the new info from DHCP and will connect once the node is up with the new address.
