Ip set losing connection to BCM

I have several IP phones set up in a new office location. They are registered with the BCM and they'll work. However, Occasionally (every 5 minutes or so) they just lose connection and have to reconnect to the BCM. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

are they connecting through a LAN - What switch do you have?

Yes they are connected to our LAN via a wireless connection between the two offices. However I spoke with someone from Nortel and they advised I should create a VLAN for voice and one for data. So I"m going to try that next.
