I am now using ELU32 with IP Routes assigned in the destination code. If a distant end ELU32 were to go down.. Card failure, Power failure or Cable break would my calls automatically re-route to the next choice in the destination. Testing i have carried out so far leaves me in some doubt.

Any comments anyone ?

Cheers
Al

[red]Striker : My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow, we're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 18:00 hours. We're coming in from the North, below their radar.[/red]

if I am correct the MD110 will try 3 call setups for each choice in roddi (at least I am sure about this if they were ISDN routes). not so sure about IP routes, will test this when I have some time....

Hi, you can set the number of oweflow attempt in ASPAP 80, and this is also working for IP trunks/route.
From Alex:
The parameter states the maximum number of repeated attempts at selection of a free external line in a route after that first attempt has failed depending on no seizure acknowledgement, double seizure etc.

I am looking for some indication of a distant end problem with the links. Obviously on a standard E1 CCT an alarm condition will be indicated on the MD110. Not sure how ASPAP 80 affects this on an IP route?

Cheers
