I have an IP Office that I can ping from the VM Pro computer. However, I cannot pull the config from the IP Office. Each is on a different subnet. Must I setup an IP Route in the IP Office in order to pull the config successfully?

The VM Pro server is 10.1.253.12, the IP Office IP address is 10.1.251.21/subnet 255.255.255.0/gw 10.1.251.1. Should I create an IP Route for the IP Office that allows me to pull the config up from 10.1.253.12? Also, will being on different subnets impact the use of Phone Manager and/or IMS? Thanks in advance...

add the following IP route to the IPO

IP addresss <blank>
Subnet Mask <blank>
Gateway 10.1.251.1
Destination Lan1

The BLF functions of PM may be a problem on different subnets.
Personaly I would recommend that the IPO & the VM are kept on the same subnet

Thanks, IPGury. Yes, I've talked the IT dept. into this - same subnet. I think this will avoid unessecary problems.
