IP Phones you cannot page

We have a BCM 400 3.7 that has 11 ip sets aroud the state running on it . the ip sets work fine for all uses except for pagin / intercom .the users state that when someone pages either directly or as an all page they often hear a page tone and then nothing else . if they ip phone has recenty Intercommed someone else in the company then it will work for up to 45 minutes or so . any ideas

BCM's do not page well through IP phones. Its getting better, but we typically set up overhead paging for an all IP site.
 
I don't know witch one it was but there is a patch for 3.7 paging IP phones.

Finnaddict, you need to be a Nortel partner or browse the internet ,there's many sites out there that gives access to the patches.
 
Get your vendor to do it. If it goes all pear shaped they can access Nortel for assistance.

Yes, it will cost money, but you can hang the vendor if it goes wrong. If you do it yourself, you are on the hook for the cleanup co$t$.

My 2 cents Canadian worth.
