Hi all!.

I need to instal 20 ip phones but I have only 1 cable and data port for each user (phone and pc). It's clear I need the phones have 1 switch port.

¿Could you recommend what type of phone buy?.

Thanks.

Buy a PoE layer 3 switch (any brand will do), let it install by someone who knows VLANs, read some info on

Thanks but what family phone can by? 96xx, 160x ?

Any of them. They all have a built in switch on the phone.

Both the 1608/1616/96xx have seperate port to run the pc as well (not sure about 1603). The 9630G has gigabit speed through it's port.

The 1603 doesn't

Don't expect lightning perfomance from the 16xx's though, their data throughput is a little below par, maybe 1/2 - 2/3 of the 96xx's :)
