I have IP phones Unregistering from my S8300 randomly, I have looked at the system logs on the web interface and it shows the phones unregistering and a reason code. Does anyone know where I can get an explanation of what these reason codes mean?

skara,

every time the phone unregisters it should fire a denial event. you can look up these codes in documentation, namely 'maintenance alarms for avaya communication manager 2.2, media servers and gateways'. if you have older software than cm 2.2, you could still use this document because most of denial event codes are much older, avaya just published them not long ago.
btw, being in your place, first thing to check would be the dhcp server if you use one. lease time for your phones should be set to maximum available time, because when dhcp lease expires, ip phone should get a new one, it unregisters and tries to get it. depending on dhcp server software and version, it may cause problems like yours.

Be sure you have reconciled your DHCP tables - that was a problem for us in the past.

Also - if you do find a problem with DHCP, it is best to hard reset your phones to avoid conflicts.
