Good afternoon all! I am working with an S8300 LSP off an 8710. The S8300 is network region 12, but some of its phones randomly register to other regions. I have set the range in ip-network-map to region 12, and yet some phones in that range jump into region 5 or 7. Will someone point me in the right direction with this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The network-region of the IP phones are dependent on the call controller which they registers. Check the CLANs IP address and network regions.

The ip-network map should have priority on the network region of the clan they register to. Is the problem occuring when you're running in "normal" mode or only when in lsp mode ? In "normal" mode the phones don't care about the LSP. Make sure the range of the ip phones is defined in the correct region in the network map.

The LSP hasn't registered yet...that is another issue altogether. I verified the range of phones is in the correct region...

Is there some sort of firewall between the remote and main location preventing the phones to register correctly ?
