IP PHONES PROBLEM 1

hello my dears

i have one big problem with ip phones 1120,1140 ,

i have configured more than 30 ip phones in same place ,

but now i want to add 10 ip phones , keycode is there ,

when i try to configure the DN manually it tells :

invalid DN , i tried many DN numbers but for nothing ,

even when i try to use auto assign DN it start searching

for several seconds and nothing happened .

what is the problem ? and how can i solve it ?

Check under Inactive DNs in Element Manager. Try one of the listed DNs and see what happens

i did that before but nothing ,,

i think there is a DN range specified for ip sets ,,

is it a 50 400 or 450 ? you may need to check the resources

u need to set the DN range for IP sets. If u have 30 IP sets, then the original range was probably set for a max of 30 IP sets. U need to increase it to add the 10 sets. Remember on a 450 u have to tell it what DNs and how many you want assigned to the system. Same goes for line numbering.
