We needed to migrated this customers old Virtual machine IPO SE 11.1.2.1.0 build 3 to new virtual machine with more CPU's, RAM and disk.

Everything is up and running on the new machine 11.1.2.2.0 build 20:
[ul]
[li]IP500v2 Expansion for several analogue extensions[/li]
[li]Avaya Contact Center Select[/li]
[li]Ascom DECTs via Gateway IPBL1[/li]
[li]3rd party (SIP & TAPI) CTI server for attendant consoles, presence/absence system etc. [/li]
[li]SIP business trunk[/li]
[li]H.323 phones: 9608 and 1608 [/li]
[li]SIP phones: J139, J169, 1120E[/li]
[li]Workplace Softphones[/li]
[/ul]
There is just one little feature missing:
On desk phones, they now need to manually hang up if the other part hang up before them, so they will hear a busy tone until they hang up.
This is even if it is an internal call between two deskphones.
I can't find any difference when comparing the new and the old System settings, Users source numbers, etc.
I can compare them side-by-side since the old one is still running (with new IP addresses and lines taken out of service) for reference.

Maybe this is a basic setting I have forgotten even though I've been a technician since the birth of IP Office and Argent Office [banghead]

Any hints?

Hello,

Have a look at User - Telephony - Call Settings - Off Hook Station is YES

Thanks for the tip Mani66. That setting did not help, I also checked with the old configuration where this option i set to No.
Also the customer responded now that this affects the H.323 phones only. The SIP phones hangs up automatically.

We will reboot the old server to check the 46xxsettings and compare with the new machine.
(One of the reasons for the migration was that the web services freeze and you can't use web Manager or User Portal without rebooting the server)

Hello joul,

I also have the problem with the freezing web services and wanted to update to the latest version. If however thereby such problems as with you occur, then I still wait.
If you have found the error, then you can report times.

Good luck with finding the error

Well. It took Avaya a week to give me this answer (after demanding config files from both new and old system including expansion systems and log files...

The parameter to set is System / Telephony / Tones & Music: Disconnect Tone.
Default = Depends on system Locale. (Haven't checked up Locale differences)
Off = H.323 will hang up automatically if other part hangs up first.
On = H.323 will get disconnect tone for som seconds (30?) depending on system Locale.
