Occasionally I get maybe 4 or 5 phones that drop off the network (5224's) out of around 40. The screen goes blank and flashes and removing the network cable, re-inserting resolves the issue. The phones get their power from a cisco 3570. What could be causing this? I can't see anything on the mitel 3300 logs. Could it be a power surge or similar, how would I check? Thanks

I have had a customer using catalyst 6xxx series switches and user reporting a similar problem. I have had a few users report thier phones "Winking out" or going dead on them. First troubleshooting step I treid was moving the phone to a different port. it seemed to keep the user quiet for now. As a first step though, move the phones to a different switchport and see if the issue still occurs.
