Hi,

I want to replace a ip4000 phone with a ip4222 phone.
i copied all the settings of ip 4000 to ip 4222. but it refuse to log on.
what shall i do now?

If the phone never has been in use in a BP system, you must load a configuration file in the new DBC422 phone, in which the system setting parameter is set for BP system, otherwise the phone wont log on to the IPU board, even if the basic IP parameters are correct.

Thanks Etompau,

but how can i get the config file.
any tips...

thanks

Files for the IP phones can be downloaded from Aastra Knowledge Base. If you don't have access to the base, you could perhaps ask your service provider.
The phone will fetch new Config and firmware files from a web server via http protocol when the phone is started/re-started.
