IP Phone over VPN Tunnel

I'm trying to connect an IP phone over a VPN tunnel. I have two locations, the main location with the BCM50 and the remote location. The tunnel is created with a Watchguard XTM5 series at the main location and an RV042 at the remote site. The phone does not see the server when I use static IP and I get DHCP Parse Error when trying it using DHCP. What do I need to do to get the IP phone (Nortel IP1230) to see the BCM50? As you've probably guessed I'm new to most of this.

Very little info for a very big job.

What version is your BCM50?

Are you requesting DHCP from the BCM or a DHCP server?

Are you configuring any parameters in the IP set, or trying to Auto Configure?
