IP Phone Bootup Sequence

Can anyone direct me to a document that explains the entire boot up sequence that occurs for a Voip phone like a 9611G? I remember reading something once that went into detail about all the communications that occur when the phone is booting up. Thanks!

But in a nutshell unless you are statically assigning the phone and telling it what to do ,
you need a dhcp server with a SSON that tells the phone what vlan to goto , what file server to get its config file / firmware from, where to register to .(that is a very very small nutshell)
