IP Phone at remote site, no speech in/out

Hi

I have a phone (5220) at a remote site connected to the main sites pbx (m3300). Currently if its dialled from another phone at the main site i get no speech either way, but if you dial it directly (DID) speech is fine.

Ive pointed the pbx to the internet gateway of the site but still have no joy. This is the first remote phone im working on and not winning, any possibility of some help please?

What software release are you running? Is there a firewall between the remote phone and the 3300?

The switch is currently on version 7.1 - I will have to assume at the moment that the client would have a firewall of sorts

The gateway on the controller is correct which allows for the DID call to succeed.

The gateway that the phone is delivered by DHCP is not correct.

In set to set calls, the set programming determines the gateway as the controller hands off the call.
